Theme Partnerships

Communities and Neighbourhoods

The Communities and Neighbourhoods theme partnership is the newest of One Nottingham’s theme partnerships. It is responsible for the development and delivery of strategies for the following policy areas:

- neighbourhood management
- community empowerment and engagement
- active citizenship
- community cohesion
- stronger voluntary & community sectors

The partnership will be chaired by the Portfolio holder for communities, Cllr Katrina Bull. The lead officer is Manjeet Gill, the city council's director of neighbourhood services.

Voluntary and community members are:

- Andrew Campbell for the SSC priority neighbourhoods
- Aneela Asim (Notts Black Partnership) for the Community Network
- Claire Rintoul (Nottingham CVS) for Volunteering Nottinghamshire
- Helen Voce (Nottingham CVS) for the Change Up consortium
- Jane England - City Homes tenants' rep
- John Murray for the Inter Faith Council
- Ruth Greenburg (Partnership Council) for the Strategic Alliance
- Trevor Messham for the Equalities Forum
