Housing - Nottingham Housing Strategic Partnership

Chaired by the Service Director for Housing Services and with a membership of registered social landlords, property developers, private landlords, Nottingham City Homes, New Deal for Communities and statutory and voluntary organisations, the role of the HSP is:

• to influence the development of housing strategies and policy for the City

• in conjunction with the Safer and Stronger Communities
Group, deliver against the Community Plan 2006 – 2009
objectives for Transforming the Physical Environment of our
Neighbourhoods

• to report Housing and Sustainability issues to One Nottingham and ensure that identified and emerging
issues are considered by the LSP in the formulation of its policies and in the Community Strategy

• to deliver the Housing Element of the Greater Nottingham
Partnerships’ Core City’s strategy

• to address and seek to influence regional and national housing policy through strong liaison with the East
Midland’s Housing structure.
