The Greater Nottingham Employment and Skills Board are hosting their partnership development and consultation conference Our People, Better Chances which will shape the future of integrated learning, skills and employability until 2011.
Citywide partnerships are invited to hear the keynote address from the Rt Hon James Purnell, Secretary of State for Work and Pensions as well as national best practice and local research. The vision for the Children’s Empowerment Contract is to create integrated services offering a range of activities from signposting to therapeutic support.
As part of the process the SPCYPF is committed to seeking the views of children and young people to ensure these are considered as part of the contract development process. This specification sets out the activities to be commissioned to ensure a meaningful engagement exercise informs the developing Children’s Empowerment Contract.
