Get your board on board with the LAA

Ever wondered what all the fuss about the Local Area Agreement is?  Community Network are inviting board members and community activists to an informal evening event to find out what the LAA means for your organisation.  It’s also a perfect opportunity to network with other board members and share information about your group with others.  There will even be tea and cake!

Day of unity in St Ann's

Each summer, community and faith groups in St Ann’s come together for a Day of Unity - an opportunity to appreciate the many community activities which are working to raise the quality of life in St Ann's.

This year's Holding Hands Around St Ann’s Day of Unity will be held on Saturday 14 June. All the details are here.

Queen's Award

The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service (formerly known as The Queen's Golden Jubilee Award) is given for outstanding achievement by groups of volunteers who:

• regularly devote their time to helping others in the community
• improve the quality of life and opportunity for others
• provide an outstanding service

Dunkirk and Lenton Community Festival

World Blood Donor Day
